The lineup is being reorganized: Pro S RWD, Pro S 4Motion (new), Tourer 4Motion (new), and Pro S Plus 4Motion. New colors, new wheels, and real physical buttons making a comeback on the steering wheel.
This is THE big news. Inspired by the European "Good Night Package," the Tourer turns the van into a refuge:
All of it controlled by Overnight mode, which reconfigures the cabin and exterior functions for spending the night on board.

Built on the Pro S 4Motion, it adds a retractable tow hitch, captain's chairs, an electrochromic roof, the Area View camera, and 20-inch dark graphite wheels with black discs.

Every ID. Buzz inherits the ID.S 6 software, built on Android: a redesigned navigation home screen for entering your destination faster, and a more intuitive vehicle settings page. On top of that, a one-year trial of In-Vehicle Premium comes with the new App Store, YouTube, and Spotify on board. Add a NACS adapter and one-pedal driving.
Simplified palette: two-tone combinations only. The new one, Candy White over Cherry Red with white wheels, is a direct tribute to the original Type 2. The top-of-the-line version can be fitted with optional 21-inch wheels.

No. The exterior and interior remain identical to the 2025 model — Volkswagen skipped the 2026 model year. What's new for 2027 is the arrival of the Tourer, the new ID.S 6 software, an entirely two-tone color palette, and the return of real physical buttons on the steering wheel.
The Pro S RWD offers an estimated range of up to 377 km, while the all-wheel-drive 4Motion versions (including the Tourer) reach about 372 km, based on available data for the 91 kWh battery.
On a DC fast-charging station, the 91 kWh battery can go from 10% to 80% in as little as 26 minutes. A NACS adapter comes standard on the 2027, giving access to an even larger charging network.
The ID. Buzz is offered in 6- or 7-seat configurations. The Pro S RWD uses a folding second-row bench for 7 seats, while the 4Motion versions, including the Tourer, come with captain's chairs for 6 seats.
The Tourer 4Motion, with its retractable tow hitch, offers an estimated towing capacity of 3,500 lb — enough to pull a small camping trailer or a fully loaded bike rack.
Volkswagen has not yet announced an exact on-sale date or pricing for the Canadian market. Concrete details are expected in the coming months — we'll keep you posted as soon as we know more.
